Now my back hurts. I sneezed this morning and thought I accidentally performed an exorcism. Lesson learned: if you take a long break from stretching, EASE INTO IT. Feeling good during the session doesn’t mean you won’t feel like a broken marionette the next day.

Last week, I wasn’t feeling my best, but it was nothing serious. My doctor prescribed some medication, and after a bit of hesitation, I took my first pill. About 20 minutes later, I felt an itch on my leg. It didn’t seem like much at first, but when I glanced down, I noticed my stomach was covered in welts. By the time I reached the mirror, my entire body was red and covered in hives. I looked like a boiled lobster!

At that point, I thought I should rush to the pharmacy to grab some antihistamines. But within minutes, things got worse. My face began to swell—my ears, lips, and even my neck. Panic set in as I realized I could barely recognize myself in the mirror.

It became clear: this wasn’t something I could handle alone. I needed help immediately. I called an ambulance, and within 25 minutes, the paramedics arrived. Their diagnosis? A severe allergic reaction to the medication I had just taken.

They acted quickly, administering a shot and hooking me up to an IV. The relief was almost instant, but the thought lingered—if I hadn’t called for help in time, I might not be here today, sharing this story.

This terrifying experience taught me an invaluable lesson: always pay attention to your body and don’t ignore any unusual reactions. Life is too precious to take chances with your health. If you ever experience something similar, don’t hesitate to seek medical attention immediately. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

Ever thought about checking your cat's passport? Well, I randomly decided to take a look at my furry supervisor's documents and, surprise! His passport is expired! Turns out, I missed the yearly rabies vaccination and other shots he needed. Who knew even cats had to deal with all this red tape?

So, I called the vet clinic, and they explained the whole process: to renew his passport, he’ll need to be microchipped, get all the necessary vaccinations, and after a month, we’ll need to do an antibody test for rabies. Then, if I understand correctly, we’ll have to wait 90 days after the test before he can travel with me to other countries! Of course, some countries have extra rules for kitty travelers, but we'll tackle those if we decide to jet off together.
