So its been a year now since we have moved and one of the things I miss the most is watching the sun set over the ocean. The sunsets in Cape Town are truly breathtaking - I have written about them before.... I just didn't realise how much I would miss seeing it. The sunsets here have their own kind of magic - don't get me wrong, I don't hate them.... They are soft and gentle and full of hues of pinks, purples and blues. Hello Fans. I hope you are well and happy. I am busy going through some photos for my next upload and I came across this series of shots. It puts into picture, how I feel like most of our shoots go. Of course it always looks lovely and beautiful and idyllic! That's how things look when you pick only the best 40 shots from 1000+ images from a shoot, but most of the time there's a lot of absurdity going on behind the scenes. And a lot of stuff that just simply doesn't work. On this particular occasion I was enjoying the lovely late afternoon sunshine on my body, while Liam sent me exploring on the dune.... At some stage he shouts "stop there", & of course, I stop. I do my thing as I always do - look this way, look that way, turn around to face the camera, smile, look that way and then this way, etc etc. After a minute I felt a tickle on my foot... I look down only to find I had foolishly stopped directly on top of an ants nest, they were NOT pleased and were swarming up my feet and legs to let me know! At this point I started frantically brushing them off (they can and will bite), promptly lost my balance in the sand and just about ended arse up in the dune bush 😂 Although they don't make for the prettiest photoset, they do make for a great bts set of me at my finest 😂

I must say this was quite the experience. A lot has changed over the years in this sleepy seaside town, and so has the surrounding nature, especially after the huge fires that roared along the coast 2 years ago, or is it now 3? Recently, we were lucky to catch these incredible plants in bloom, part of the sweetpea family apparently - You have NEVER smelled anything like it in your life, the air was thick with their sweet scent. Bubblegum and candy floss and raw honey. On our last visit here, this path was ash. Now, it is a wonderful magical playground on a warm Summers afternoon. Felt like just a regular walk until this perfection presented itself to us. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to experience it

And I absolutely LOVE the end result. The day we chose to shoot with LaLuna started off sunny but obviously as soon as we stripped down to shoot with the drone, in true Cape style, the weather changed. The clouds rolled in, the wind turned icy cold and the rain fell lightly onto our naked bodies. When it became clear we weren't able to continue the drone shoot, we packed up and bolted to the forest for some cover. Liam and I have been there a couple times before but never to shoot. It was fairly dark amongst the ancient trees but magical and mystical. I hope you enjoy the photos, as much as we enjoyed hanging out with this creative, beautiful, wonderful woman; LaLuna. Over the years we have shot an *obsessive* amount of images, and it's only when we have to sort through our hard drives that we stumble upon whole albums we have never looked at. I shot these of Liam a few months ago. It's not often he is the one to jump in front of the camera, unless we are DEEP in the middle of the mountains... but somehow I got him to switch roles one afternoon and he did a quick dash for some pics. We met up with our friend @little_la_luna while we were in town late last year, we took her into our favourite mountains for the afternoon and explored the rocky landscape with her. We had a really wonderful time, she is a fun, creative, exciting woman to be around & we will definitely be meeting up with her again when we are next in town. We have put together an album of photos from the drone. The video is also available for PPV on request :) Enjoy them and as always, THANK YOU for your Love & support. WANDERING FOREST - Full Photoset I love forests. Liam isn't particularly a fan because they are a nightmare to shoot in, you are either fighting with dappled light or lack of light. To me, there is something mysterious and wise about a forest. Especially indigenous, the earth thick with time, a sense that those old tress have seen a lot. The stories they could tell, the knowledge they could impart. If you take a moment & sit quietly, you can hear the forests talking, alive with chatter... If only we knew how to listen. Sometimes, just sometimes, I think I understand - I feel it speaking to a deep part of me. It's quite something if you can get into that space where the whisperings start to form words. Of course reality always has to snap you back, with a hiker passing by or the sound of traffic or in my case quite often - Liam saying "Look up at the light!" 🤣

This was really fun. Mangroves and me - It was really exciting to experience it like this, naked and unafraid! As I ran across the thick slippery mud, waves of crabs scurried around, opening up a path ahead and closing back again behind me. Pretty cool. Navigating between the trees was tough. The root systems are basically crab highrises, I felt like godzilla crashing through Crab city. lol. So I tried to make it brief as I could. Off grid shower vibes Not much behind this set really, just me having a "shower" while we were on our off grid holiday. It was a different experience, not at all unpleasant despite the cold, but also not the most effective method I have used, lol. It did get me thinking about how privileged we are, most of us anyway, and how we take so many simple things in life for granted. We see things like clean running water as a "basic human right", but we don't realise (or perhaps don't want to) that many people in this world do not experience those rights. Sometimes life gets tough, it gets you down - remember in those moments that there are millions of people in this world who are worse off. Be grateful for your lot in life, be humble about what you have. Show some compassion and Kindness to those who have it worse off than us. Everyday go out and try to make the world a better place 💗

Ever set yourself a goal and then feel totally overwhelmed by it, that you unconsciously end up doing everything else but that one thing you set out to do? I think that's what happened with the 10k photos I set out to sort through from our trip. I had every intention of doing it, It was on my to-do list every day. But for some reason or another there were other things in life that kept me from sitting down and doing it. Once I realised I was trying to tackle too much in one go, I decided just to start with a "quick pick" album of our time away. I hope you enjoy this album (full album posted below) Sorry it took me so long to get to it. I will be going through the rest of the photos in bite size chunks and sharing them as I go Much love to you all and thank you for your patience. Phew! I feel like its been an age since I have lifted my head to see what is happening in the world around me. Recently we found ourselves with some part time online work & it came at a perfect time as OnlyFans had just dropped their big announcement. While I was quite convinced it wouldn't effect our S4E Page directly in terms of content, it would affect the traffic going to the platform altogether. So the chance at extra income was quite sweet. Needless to say, its been a tiny bit intense here this last month or so. We have been trying to juggle a lot; Searching 4 Eden work, re-shifting/rethinking our akinkinthetale project, working on our various NFT collections, the new job AND to keep up with the usual day to day DMs and life things. I cant say I have juggled these things very well. Some days I honestly just didn't have the capacity to do it all in a day. Anyway, things have settled now and so life can resume a vague kind of normal. Liam is busy editing the videos from our trip away last month, and I am going through the Oh, 10 000+ photographs that we shot. I wish I was exaggerating there, but to my dismay... I am not 😵 So with that, I am off! Much Love ❤🥰😘
