This is what I got up to today! My mornings always start with the ducks coming up the the kitchen window β¨ blessed β¨ then I changed tyres on my E-bike, that I have had for the last 3 years but haven't been able to ride since it wasn't a YT, but as they're not sponsoring me now - I can finally ride it again! So it got some maintenence yesterday.
After that I had to change the roof on my shed and I finished my day reading Heir of Fire, which is a fantasy series that's insane, so so so good!
This was my day today! 1) I have a concert in the living room almost everyday, but never to this Smurf song from back in the day, I still remembered a lot of the lyrics that are in Swedish, ahaha! 2) Filmed a favorite kits from the Loose Riders 2025 collection 3) Changed my bedsheets to these new burgundy sheets I got (I'm putting black satin pillowcases on the white pillows, but I washed them today so they were drying) 4) Mowed the lawn 5 and 6) Donald helped me sand down this wardrobe I got for the hallway so jackets can go in there. This is taking soooo much time, I sanded for hours today and I am still not done yet. 7) Donald getting excited over getting grass fed to him in his pool.
This is what I eat for breakfast everyday! (but usually I have raspberries as well, but I just ran out) - Recipe below! π
Chocolate Overnight Oats 1 cup of oats 1 tbs of chia seeds 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder 2 Tbs of dark cocoa 1 cup oat milk (or any milk, but I prefer oat at the moment)
Mix the dry ingredients together in a mason jar, I just use a spoon and make sure everything is mixed and then pour over the oat milk and stir or shake.
Leave overnight
Serve with granola, raspberries (I just ran out but I always have raspberries or strawberries too) banana, pecan- or cashew nuts and oat milk! Sometimes I add a tiny bit of sugar free syrup on top as a treat!
Super healthy and easy recipe I never get sick of. Some days I swirl the overnight oats with a greek yogurt to mix it up.
Outfit for flying to Auckland today β¨ popping up north for a couple of days to have small surgery to fix an old injury - nothing major and should be healed up in a few weeks!
This morning I rode my bike to the river to try to find a platypus but I didnβt see one, but these were the wildlife I did see π I love animals and we donβt really have any animals in NZ, mainly birds, so itβs cool to see more animals (and birds) here in Maydena π«ΆπΌπ¦
There has been quite a few requests of this video so here are my tips on how to whip your bike!
Repetition is key! You won't learn this in a day, it is something that takes a lot of practise so keep going with it and try to whip every jump possible. Let me know if this video helped you at all and please, send videos of your progression to me! π
Sometimes the average size is just the perfect size! ππ I LOVE my 135mm cranks - super short so pedaling feels weird at first but the balance with these is insane and it also makes one- and no footed tricks easier. Give it a try or at least 155mmβs to start off with - Hope has the best cranks with options from 135mm-170mm
Didnβt get so many clips from today but some one footed cans on this line! Keen to ride more next week and heading to Tasmania on Thursday for some trail bike action π₯
This is how I live - follow me through my flat tour! Iβve rented this flat for three months now so Iβm slowly decorating it to what I want. Iβve moved around a lot in Queenstown and this is probably the 14th place I live in here but my favorite one for sure π«ΆπΌ
Gym Exercises I do to improve my bike riding π«ΆπΌ
I go to the gym 4 times a week for an hour each time and I run 15k a week to stay fit to make me be able to push up and drop in faster during photo shoots, have more energy to ride for longer and more muscle to be able to do more moves on my bike and to prevent injury!
Apart from that being active also makes me super happy and is an important part of my lifestyle - a nice π wonβt just appear by itself π
