Well my friends, when it rains it poursā¦ I came home from a work trip to find my car window had been smashed in my parkade, my storage unit broken into, and several valuables stolen. The losses aside, the break-in happened at the same time as I got home and went right upstairs to bedā¦ if I had gone through the parking garage for whatever reason I would have run right into the 2 intruders. Living alone downtown is scary enough as a small woman and my building is feeling less and less safe. Iāve lost track of how many break-ins weāve had since I moved here last year, and I unfortunately have disproportionately experienced the most theft out of everyone. I believe thatās because I have the least expensive car of all of my neighbours, which makes it easier to break into (I donāt want to think about the possibility that Iām being personally targeted). Iām considering moving, but Iām still under a lease and moving is one of my least favourite things to do, because I moved so much growing up and itās just so much work in general. I also absolutely donāt have time to deal with all of this right now with my work schedule (I donāt even know when Iāll have time to bring my car in to get fixed so itās just sitting there with a smashed window). The thieves also stole all my insurance and registration paperwork, some other documents, and a folder full of receipts, so Iām very worried that they may be attempting identity theft. If anyone cares to help, Iām fundraising for my insurance deductible which is just $250. My car insurance will only cover replacing the window, and not the stolen items unfortunately, but someone will be calling me tomorrow so I can figure out what to do. Iāll find some way to thank everyone who contributes once life has calmed down somewhat ā¤ļø Just know I appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart and here is a new pictures from a shoot I did in June! (NSFW ones on my vip page!) I have a week off coming up and Iām so excited to decompress and spend more time with you ā¤ļø
