Added 2021-08-23 06:02:20 +0000 UTCWe met up with Ali on our last trip into Cape Town. I tell you what - as incredible and full of light as she seems on her social platforms.... Ali is that, and so much more in person. A rare gem of a human. Sadly We had only a brief time with her to hang out this time. We drove into Cape Town to meeet up with her after she finished work, the afternoon had turned cool, the sun was blocked by a thick bank of clouds. Like me, Ali isn't a fan of the cold. haha. So we decided to start on the beach first, while there was still warmth in the air and time to dry up. I will admit that the ocean was particularly icy that afternoon, so we didn't venture in too deep this time, not even Liam and I. At least Ali and I had loads of fun running around the beach, the waves lapping at our ankles, and Liam chasing us up and down with the camera. We set the camera up on a rock and got it to take a few shots of all three of us, attempting to go in for a dip... we tried but wow, it was a little too much of a commitment that evening. As time was short and the walk back to the car park was at least 20mins, we opted not to stay at the beach, and rather make our way back along the rocks to see where else we could explore along the way...
