This is Keysha. She’s a pretty good girl. I’ve been taking her with me everywhere and she’s been really good. She seems a lot happier when I bring her. She’s obsessed with being with me in the house or around the property too. She is always right there. I love having her for company.

I love my little alpine herd! They are all so friendly. I love the colors they come in. I also am OBSESSED with how big they’ll get. I personally don’t think any of my goats are done growing. I’d love to see them get to be 150-175 each. Homer my biggest boy is probably around 135 pounds right now.

This is Zayn. Anytime I’m sitting or laying you can almost always find him right next to me. He has always been a cuddle dog. He likes to lay against you too not just near you. He’s getting to be so old now. He’ll turn 8 in December. He was born on Christmas.

I’ve had my quail enclosure for the past couple months now. I have barely gotten any eggs they are only a year old so this summer should have been their highest egg laying year. The only thing that was changed is where they live. So for quail egg production it has not been a good year.

I ended up rehoming my fainting goats. It was a home where my buck will be the only buck and with my two girls they’ll have 13 total other female fainters for friends. So I think they went to a great home.

This is Yuki. I started puppy training class with her. She is the youngest in the class by a couple months. Still figuring out what her favorite treats are. She was pretty lazy in class and didn’t want to do much. She worked with me pretty good today at home though. I’m excited to see what we can learn together.

This is Rue and one of the kittens. I often find the dogs and cats cuddling. Usually the kittens more than the adult cats but if the adults cats have to cuddle a dog to be able to cuddle me they will. Every animal I have likes to cuddle with everything. There’s so much love always around.

I love going on walks with my dogs. It’s one of the most relaxing things. Just walking in nature and having dogs run up and down the trail and all around you. They like to run when I walk. Usually you see one sprint by then that means there’s more sprinting your way so make sure you’re not in the way.

This is a rare sighting. Silver without some kittens. I think she is so pretty. We honestly aren’t the closest. She just kinda hangs out with her kittens. Or sometimes I find her just laying somewhere watching everything. I can go up to her and pet her and she will want more pets but she never asks for pets otherwise. I’m going to put more intentional time into getting her to really like me.

It’s becoming fall where I am. Colors are changing, and so is the weather. One thing I’m not looking forward to is cold morning chores. The water is already starting to freeze where I am. I had to break a layer on top of the dog’s bowl outside this morning.

These are some of my Cayuga ducks. I ended up with 4 males and 1 female. My other two pekin ducks are both female. I think I just want to keep the females. So I think I’m going to see if any local farms want the boys. We’ll see if I can get rid of them before winter. Ducks are extremely messy and waste a lot of water. I don’t want them making the coop wet at all in the winter. So the less ducks I have the better.

I’ve loved all the eggs I’ve been getting recently. This is a few days worth. I love all the colors. I still should have more chickens that will start laying hopefully other colors too.

Yuki went to the vet yesterday. She is not fun to bring in the car… she barked most of the time. She has a high pitched puppy bark. But that’s what this breed is known for doing is barking so I’m not really surprised. Hoping that in future car rides she feels more comfortable so she barks less.

This is Tuck. This is how I often find him. He’s always sleeping on his back. Sometimes he sleeps with his arms fully extended out. He is pretty funny.

I love my kitties so much. They are so cute. They fill the house with love and play. They love to cuddle each other and can usually find them in a pile together. You can usually find Ralph mixed in with them. Ralph loves them.
