It feels like Friday and I'm in a very playful mood. The air is crisp and it's giving me goosebumps. I love to play in different places and this suite was interesting to me with all the different spots to have so much fun. Sometimes, I feel like I should have been a gymnast, but the girls and my height took care of that. I also love to be spontaneous. Would you pull over on the side of the road for me when I'm in the mood? Don't mind those big ole trunks honking their approval. 💋
It was an afternoon of shopping and sight seeing, so I needed a little pick me up mid day and this tasty Espresso Martini at the Waldorf Astoria SkyBar hit the spot. It's a modern, but cozy space and perfect to catch a second wind before heading to The Shops at Crystals next door 🛍 🍸
To say I worked up an appetite after some heavy duty Las Vegas Strip walking & shopping, is an understatement. A quiet night was desired, so we enjoyed dinner at the Four Seasons Veranda. It's a very nice and comfortable restaurant with a variety of options. We started with the house made focaccia bread and the meatballs. You know how they say, your eyes are bigger than your stomach. Well, that was the case, because that would have been plenty 😌. But, before that was realized, we decided to share the Green Risotto and the Gulf Prawn Rosé. Everything was so delicious! I just wish I could have enjoyed more of it. Actually, it's making me very hungry now. That is always the problem with writing this up late! I'm wishing I had those leftovers now 😚.
Since, our bellies were full, we opted for drinks for dessert at the Four Seasons Lobby Bar. I enjoyed one of my favorite's, RedBreast 21 with some wonderfully quoted napkins. They sure made me laugh! Between those, and the wedding party that was spilling over from an outdoor reception, we had all the entertainment we needed 🤣. Cheers! 🥃

For the last six years, since making its debut on the Las Vegas Strip at Caesars Palace, I have been hearing about Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen. It usually books 2-3 months out, so when I got an invitation to go, I was very excited to finally get a chance to dine there. To be honest, I don’t watch cooking shows, and have never seen his reality tv show about cooking, but I know he is quite popular.
First off, it’s not easy to get to if you drive, so I suggest taking an Uber or Taxi that drops you off in front of Caesars, as it literally is on the sidewalk part of the Strip. To say it was PACKED is an understatement. I wasn’t crazy about how close all the tables were to each other and how loud it was. Lots of people, so I get it, but I usually prefer a less boisterous environment for dining.
I started with a cocktail “Smoke on the Blvd” with Elijah Craig small batch instead of the Bulleit rye. It was very delicious with a fun presentation – see video 😚 And, sadly to be honest, that was the best part of the experience, other than the company.
I ordered the Pan Seared Scallops and the Crispy Skin Salmon- they were both good, but nothing to write home about. I guess my expectations were kind of high, because of all the hype. My dining partner said that The Beef Wellington, that Ramsay is famous for, was kind of cold. So, that was disappointing to hear. Unfortunately, I think some of these famous chefs get too big, have too many restaurants and become less special and more ordinary. 😕 Luckily, there are so many amazing restaurant options in Las Vegas!
It's all about the attitude. Today, I'm feeling a little sassy with a side of sugar & spice. When I'm confidant and positive, great things tend to happen, so bring on the week. Hope all of you had a great weekend. I'm sending lots of kisses your way! 💋

Friday meetings... When negotiating with a promising nylon company, I found that the best tactic was to pull out my aces or legs in this case. It's amazing how the conversation shifts as do lots of seats in the room. Hmmm, I bet numbers were not at the forefront of their thoughts. We're still quibbling over distribution, but I feel confidant that my signature line of stockings will be a hot seller. What do you think? 😄 💋

Throwback Thursday This is such a perfect set for today because the weather has finally dropped below 100 degrees for the high today and I'm in such a good mood. The air was crisp this morning for my run and I'm getting excited about getting out many of my stockings that I keep for fall and winter. I know it may only be temporary, but today it feels great. 💋

It was so much fun to try this restaurant inside of Caesars Palace! Stanton Social Prime is a twist on the normal Steakhouse. They have so many interesting options, that it was really difficult to make a decision on what to try. So, the decision was made to try lots of the shareables.
But first, a cocktail 😉
I decided on the Trillionaire and it was excellent. It’s a version of a whiskey sour using Old Forester Bourbon. The plates we decided on was the Shrimp Cocktail, Truffle Tots, Manicotti & Wagyu Meatballs, and one of their most reviewed and popular dishes, Famous French Onion Soup Dumplings. Wow! Was it all so delicious!!! I enjoyed them all very much, but the dumplings were extremely tasty and unique. They are served in an escargot dish, and you scoop out all the cheesy goodness.
Having visited so many steakhouses in Las Vegas, this was an unexpected treat- everything from the décor, the details on the menus, the service and the way they presented the bill- Pay to Play along with a prescription.🤣 I would highly recommend. The dessert menu was looked at, but there were Dominque Ansel pastries back in the room to enjoy! Cheers! 🥃
