It’s been a while since I had a yoga session naked, partly due to it being rather cold and partly due to not doing much of yoga nowadays.
Even now I stretch the term of “yoga” very heavily.
Honestly, let’s just call it a sensual morning movement. Just a stretch of sorts. To wake up the body and prepare it for the day ahead.
And for you.. it’s probably something on the lines of my pretty naked butt moving around and being in different poses for 12 minutes haha :>

🌿 Thoughts on relationship to body hair 🌿

As far as I remember myself I always had a

battle with body hair. And strong, overwhelming shame around it. To the point of refusing to go outside and crying at the age of 12 if my legs weren’t perfectly shaved. And over the years this relationship thankfully to my own efforts have gone through different phases and became more healthy. Less filled with rejection of the self and shame. That being said, I am not at the end of this journey, as to this day I experience shame and discomfort if someone else sees any kind of body hair, that I have. The most discomfort being around having hair around my pussy.

To make things complicated, at the same time I experience extreme skin irritation from shaving. And even tho I have tried different methods to shave without irritating my skin. The irritation is always there although in lesser amounts if I take good care of the process.

And of course this heavily intertwined with my work.

To the point of not doing anything just to avoid the discomfort either of shame around body hair or the skin irritation that lasts a week at a time occasionally.

So today I am here, not only to reflect on my relationship towards body hair, but also to have courage to challenge my shame. As I do have a strong feeling that in fact nothing bad is going to happen if once in a while I do what is good for my skin and just let my hair be. Of course there always will be people that themself have some sort of tension with body hair , or people whose preferences are just different. Still, I believe the sex community is diverse in very many aspects and I would love to focus and support the parts of it that strive to create acceptance and variety rather then police the bodies of other people based on their own views.
