I shot in this two weeks after my back injury because my photographer at the time didn’t want to cancel his plans with a rented space and I didn’t want to be a nuisance even though I was constantly in pain~ kinda shitty of him and it’s tarnished my enjoyment of the photos we took together in this. I think it definitely deserves some more time in the limelight though!
I’ve always wanted to do more behind the scenes stuff at shoots but I get so consumed when the shoot actually happens that I forget!
This time I remembered to do this one time lapse for y’all and I thought it would be fun to see the process for a shoot, from my perspective at least. A lot of moving to one pose and holding it and making small adjustments until we think we’ve got “the shot”

When I saw this set from Thistle & Spire, I just knew I needed to own it. I am constantly saving images on instagram and pinterest as inspiration and I really saw this with roses - something about the pattern just screams romance to me. I shot these in a little mini set I made in the front room of my apartment, moving my desk and chair aside and pinning a sheet to the wall in front of my closet 😅 Ingenuity!
There are 20 pictures total, including the preview images. These include pictures in the bodysuit from both front and back, some taken with my phone, others with the digital camera (higher quality, clearer images). The bodysuit is sheer so cleavage is all over the place, as well as good hip/hip crease, a little booty, two shots of me laying on my back on the roses and a TINY HINT of Riker because he wanted to be a part of it 😅

For this shoot, I took a long hot shower, styled my hair, put some delightful lavender scented lotion on my dry winter skin, and got into this beautiful bodysuit by Thistle & Spire. I ordered myself two dozen roses and pinned a sheet to the wall in front of my closet, strung up some lights and set up my camera!
Self portraits can be so hard, the posing, capture, and editing, but the feeling of taking a picture I’m proud of is like nothing else 😍

Well this is kind of a bummer to have to say! I worked with a new photographer late last year. He took these photos but the main reason I chose to work with him was because he did video content. I’ve been wanting to do more video, and a cute little slow mo “imagine you and me” cozy vacation shoot seemed like just the thing. Unfortunately this photographer is being extremely unprofessional and will neither commit time to editing the video (due to personal matters) NOR release the video so I can get someone else to edit it or do so myself.
I was waiting on that video and now it just won’t exist and that bums me out a lot 😞 But I still have the photos so you’ll have to imagine the cozy fantasy vacation edit that could have been.

I want to state first off that absolutely no one is expected to give toward this ridiculously lofty goal! I have a dream of lavender straps and lace and I want to make it a reality for y'all! Any amount you can afford to give is absolutely welcome and no pressure if you can't afford it! This goal is toward getting the bra, suspender (waist garment), thong and garters from the light purple set I showed you yesterday. I posting the goal now instead of just waiting until I can save for it myself because unfortunately they are selling out in my size (I think the bra is currently sold out on one website but I can find it on others for a small mark up) and I really don't want to miss this one! That lavender is calling me!
What you can expect in return is: all participants in this little fundraiser will get preview images like the ones shown of the garments as they ship! I want you to be excited and invested in the whole process with me! The pictures i'm including are from the first time I was able to buy from this brand, on sale around Christmas! It was the last thing we did that day and it was right after my back injury so I was tired and sore but the hot water felt lovely, even with clothes on haha
