A little-known fact about the animation industry is that during the 1930s, many of the animation techniques that became industry standards were developed in secret due to intense competition among studios. For instance, the "multiplane camera," which added depth to animated scenes, was closely guarded by Walt Disney Studios for years before being revealed to the public. This secrecy was due to the fierce rivalry between studios, each trying to outdo the other with more advanced and visually impressive animations.

Welcome back to 'Cartoon Crunch Time!' This award-winning animated television series follows Billy and Mandy, who befriend the Grim Reaper after winning a limbo contest against him. The show features dark humor and supernatural adventures as the trio navigates bizarre and often macabre situations.
I think one of the biggest reasons I developed such a strong love and obsession with cartoons, illustration, and character design (besides basically being raised by television) is the power of storytelling through these mediums. So much can be expressed through a simple gestural sketch or color palette, and artists continue to push the boundaries of what we know to be art. It is limitless and ever-changing. I'm excited to see where animation takes us in the future ๐
