Sometimes you don't know you needed something until you have it. Last night one of my dear friends brought me to a hot spring about an hour south of SLC. The hike in was an easy 2.5 miles in along a beautiful stream. We went there around sunset and watched the stars come out. It was beyond relaxing, I felt this weird knot that's been in my shoulder for months disappear, my whole body just seemed to be "letting go" and when I awoke this morning I felt a serenity I haven't had in years.
I'm very thankful for experiences like these. Hope everyone has a great weekend

Yesterday I had the opportunity to be a "stage kitten" (aka stage hand) for Bustout Burlesque at the House of Blues in New Orleans. For those of you that aren't familiar with what that means.
