Right here is my favorite and largest thing that I have ever made! My wooden bench that I hand cut and stained! I got inspired by a bench I saw online that I couldn’t afford and decided to recreate it! It now serves as my TV stand in my New York living room. I went to Home Depot and picked out the sturdiest wood they had for cheap, rented a saw and decided on measurements that worked for the bench and used the saw to cut all of the pieces in my home. (I had sawdust everywhere for days, worth it tho!) then I used wood glue to stack all of the wooden pieces on top of one another to create the pattern of the legs! The very first wooden square that is attached to the bench top is nailed in though to make sure it’s secure! whenever working with machinery, paint, wood stain, whatever it may be… please wear clothes you don’t care about and remove all jewelry (mainly rings) earrings are OK as long as they’re not big!

I was walking home yesterday and I found this chair on the sidewalk. For those of you who don’t know, this is a mid century wooden folding chair. They’re very beautiful and hand crafted to last. I couldn’t resist picking it up and taking it home with me! Cant wait to sand it down a bit and re-stain it!
