OK guys. I want to attempt to do a livestream this Saturday. I *should* be able to get wifi on my laptop out on the veranda. I'm think at approximately 4PM CET (just ask Siri what time it is in the Netherlands). I think what I'd like to do, since I don't know how this works yet, is ask you to message me questions before Saturday, and I'll pick some to answer while smoking. If you have questions during the livestream, you can send them (I'm assuming it's a lot like YouTube, with a chat?) but I'll prioritize ones I get beforehand.
I had thought of charging $5 to attend, but it looks like you can't do that on livestreams unless you have a free account, so I'll just say that I'll appreciate tips if you decide to join! :-)

OK, I have to ask... by any chance do any of you have a fetish for nuns smoking? Because I have an irrational desire to buy a replica of Audrey's Congo habit. I found a company that actually makes this but I can't buy things that I won't use more than once (I mean obviously I'd do some photos and video wearing it for my Audrey tributes, but...). I'm trying to find a good reason to justify buying it. hehe

Well after some research, I settled on this vape, the Smok Stick Prince (in silver. Though the rainbow colour was tempting), and just ordered it. It was €51 so if anybody feels like donating towards it, I wouldn't object. ;-) It's a business expense at least, so I can probably get the VAT back. haha. Now... what flavour vape juice should I try....?

I just thought I'd share something about my family history that I thought might interest you today. :-) My great-grandfather was a tobacco packer, and owned his own business (with a partner) in Pennsylvania. That's him in the nice suit and hat in the first picture. I don't know what year the photo was taken, nor what year that newspaper ad was placed, but estimating around the year 1900, those 5¢ cigars would cost $1.77 today. :-)

A little different today! I got out my cigarette-making supplies. I think things got a little moist where it was being stored, and then even more so on the wet picnic table, but hey. :-) Let me know what you think of the two mixes I made. I'm going to experiment with some other things as well. Going to see if I can find a vape this week too.... :-)

Saturday seemed the most popular choice for a livestream and now it's time to see if you have a time preference. I'm in the Netherlands and I know there's a big time difference for everyone in the US. I can't do it much later here though, because it gets dark and cold. The livestream would be something like 20-30 minutes, I think. Let me know the window of time you prefer!

Hello, my friends! :-) Hope you're all having a great day so far! I'm excited to now be in my second month here. Hurray! I think it's going well so far. In this video we're trying my other microphone. You can let me know which you prefer. I know this one can sometimes brush against my clothing and make sound, so I have to watch it. The other one requires me to keep my hair up, because when hair brushes against the headphones that also makes noise. I'll probably alternate, if both are OK for you. Also, I've ordered an additional plain black backdrop along with a much-needed stand to prop them on, because although I love this one, I do think complete black would be helpful to have. Those plain ones are cheaper so I just ordered that this morning. OK that's all for now, enjoy the video!

I don't want to complain or make excuses but the past two days have been a little stressful for me, and I literally was in bed most of the day yesterday. I did some crocheting, but that was about it. :-P In a little rough patch at the moment but I'm hoping I'll be back to my old self soon because I do look forward to creating some interesting smoking videos for you! I feel kinda lame, like I just don't have it all together when it comes to my online content, but I'm only human, I suppose. By the way, is the quality of my iPhone camera OK for you all? I use the front camera so I can see the picture and I know it's not as good as the back camera. Let me know!

I've shared two of these on IG, but not the other two yet. It's really a shame how IG crops photos. My own camera takes photos in the 'right' proportions, but his camera likes to make them extra long. I remind him to back up, because if he gets too close, I end up having to chop my feet off for IG!

First test run of the backdrop! Just sitting, silently smoking. We took some photos as well, which is an interesting new challenge. I will figure out the best ways of highlighting the smoke... I realize that light is still coming in through the side of the veranda this time of day. It will just take some experimentation to get things the way I want it. :-)

Now I don't know if anybody here would outright buy me something like this off my Amazon wish list, or if you could all just pitch in to reach the goal so I can buy it myself, but I'm thinking I could really use a dark backdrop to do photos and videos in front of.
