Hello loves ❤️❤️❤️ It has been far too long! After an 8 day hospital stay this time, I'm finally home and feeling a little better. I don't think I've ever told you what was actually going on with all my health issues, so this will be a bit of an explanation for you 😘 Back in April I went to the hospital because I was having very sharp pains in my lower abdomen, aches throughout my lower back and pelvis, fever, chills. They did a CT scan and found an abcess in my lower abdomen. So they drained the abcess, put me on antibiotics and sent me on my way. The next week my gastroenterologist diagnosed me with Crohn's disease. Fun 🤪 I was doing ok for a few weeks, just waiting for meds to get approved and what not. Then the week before memorial day I started getting the same symptoms again. Went to the ER, they did another CT scan and found that the abcess had returned. Because it was a holiday, they just put me on more antibiotics and sent me home with referrals to make. So again, I was feeling ok for a little bit. I finished up the antibiotics, but then a few days after I started getting the same symptoms again. After a couple of days I ended up going to a larger hospital a little ways from where I live. Found out the abcess was back. They were able to drain the abcess again, this time they are leaving the drain in for at least a week, maybe two. I will eventually have to have surgery to remove the section of my small intestine that the Crohn's has damaged because that is where this abcess is coming from. But they want my overall health to be better before they do operate. Goodness that was long! So sorry if you made it through it all 😂 all that to say that I can't wait to get back to posting regularly and making all the customs for you ❤️❤️❤️
