Trigger Warning: Crime, Assault, Symptoms of Mental Disorders Apologies for being MIA for a little over a week. I had some creep break in and enter while I was asleep in Elijah, harass my friend, and steal my toothbrush and some of my meds. Fortunately, nothing was done to me as far as I am aware. I am pretty sure I know who it is though, so I am going to contact him this week and give him an opportunity to return my stuff and apologize and try my best to convince him to seek help. If the person denies it, I'm going to try my best to get the security tapes, and I will be pressing criminal and civil charges against the person - or whomever is discovered in the tapes. I would just prefer to avoid having to deal with legal issues in a super conservative town as a queer, disabled person. As part of my CPTSD, I have a sleep disorder which comes with a lot of recurring nightmares and periods of night terrors. The most common type was an unrecognizable man breaking into my place, sometimes chasing me, and always ending strang-ling me with me fighting sleep paralysis for what seemed like an eternity. I was undiagnosed until 16 when I pieced together a repressed memory from when I was 3, and after experiencing extremely bad luck in Spain, my disorder worsened and I got diagnosed with BPD as well. For this reason, I decided to take a break for my mental and physical health so I could process what happened. I am doing alright. Taking this as an opportunity to focus more on work outside of content creation and to take better care of myself. Lesson learned that I need to be a lot more careful and selective about who I allow to have access to me. I have been struggling with some insomnia, but I am restarting an anti-anxiety med that should help for the next few weeks until I feel a bit more settled. On the positive side, I am heading to Australia (Sydney and Cairns) next week with my mom, and I cannot wait. Hopefully will be able to get 2-3 colabs done while I am over there, but I am mostly going to be focusing on enjoying the magnificent art, architecture, and wildlife.
