You thrived on teams, in a fraternity, in houses full, in classrooms, in a corporation. Your weeks were full of meetings and sexual liaisons, weekends full of parties and golf games. And I was there nearby or beside you, ready to give you company at your beck and call. I sat by the phone and answered quickly to ensure you were never lonely. I never let you be lonely because I knew you never let yourself be lonely. If I didn’t answer, another woman would. You never let the loneliness sink in with open arms. You never let it change you, transform you, into a man. All this time you’ve been stuck playing the games of a chi1d over and over and over." I could have said all these things, but I didn't. **** -- Reflect and respond from your depths.
