Added 2022-02-15 21:04:17 +0000 UTCI’ve never been the “I hate Valentine’s Day” type regardless of my relationship status during a given year and despite the fact that no one ever sent me those carnations in school. 😅 As a kid it was like Halloween without having to walk around in the cold. As an adult, it’s an excuse to wear red and smell all the pretty flowers at the grocery store. And tbh most candy just tastes better when it’s heart-shaped. I don’t make the rules. If you had a hard day yesterday, I’m sending all my love but also reminding you that today is your time to shine—go grab some discount flowers and candy and maybe a cute lil plushie and treat yourself the way you deserve. 🥰 Even over-hyped Hallmark holidays have silver linings (often in the form of cheap chocolate).
