After the mountains, I headed to Paris — a city where every corner is filled with inspiration🤩 Here, amidst masterpieces of art and cozy streets, I planned not only to take photographs but also to indulge in a bit of shopping.
As I strolled through the new streets, one had the feeling that the condition currently being experienced had already taken place in the past. Everything felt so familiar, as if I had forgotten the names of the streets and the routes. I couldn't recall where I had seen such architecture before. However, the majestic spire of the Eiffel Tower piercing the clouds and towering over the city quickly brought me back to reality.🗼Btw, I still haven't been inside. It's too crowded, which is probably why I avoid all tourist hotspots. One cannot truly enjoy architecture and history in a hurry.
The French cuisine delighted me with its variety of flavors. I tried numerous dishes, but frog legs... that was a strange discovery! Smiling, I realized that not all culinary traditions are to everyone's liking. 🐸
Getting around the city was complicated due to protests. Buses were stopping mid-route, forcing me to search for the metro.🧭 After 15 minutes of wandering, I finally found a station. But then the real adventure began! I descended, paid for my ticket, followed the signs that were scattered throughout the metro, and ended up back at the entrance🤔 Wrong turn... I went in again, paid for entry, carefully made my way toward the trains, chose what seemed to be the right one, only for it to head in the opposite direction from my destination station😅... In the end, I was an hour late for my meeting but learned a valuable lesson about navigating Paris subway.🚇
Nonetheless, I'm loving it all. The people here smile, and even the gloomy winter weather sometimes gives way for the yellow sun to smile down on me with its rays. It's wonderful! 🥰
