✨Prague and Helsinki Ft. Wall, Rain and The Perfect Drink✨
I arrived in Prague on a very, much too early flight for the schedule of a comedian. In a groggy state, myself and my friend went to check out the Fortress. I kept saying to him how much I liked wall, and he kept saying to me to please add the article and say 'the wall'. This was crazy, as wall and I had a very special bond almost immediately and I obviously know what to call it even if he doesn't. Photo 3 gives you an indication of the beauty of wall, which I have included for any wall efficonados.
In the evening we were told about Havelská Koruna, a restaurant that sold traditional Czech cuisine. The menus were in Czech, there was absolutely no effort made to accommodate tourists and I loved it so much. I got what I think was a beef stew with bread dumplings that was honestly heaven and I'm still thinking about it a week later.
The next day we had a lot of pretty plans to visit all of Prague's hotspots, but unfortunately these plans were rained away. We made it up to the castle (see video) but after that I chickened out, went back to my hotel and crawled under the duvet.
Helsinki, the end of this weekend's travels was much better, weather wise, but the highlight of this trip was that my stage outfit perfectly matches a favourite Finnish drink (Gin&Grapefruit). The first photo is me with my gin-twin.
Lastly, the elevators at Helsinki airport were very cool and I felt like straight out of a movie so there's a video of that too.
Next week, Haarlem & Paris xx
