✨Dublin, Ireland🇮🇪✨
One of the coolest things about this job is that I get to travel.
Last week, I went to Dublin. I'd been a couple of times before (once to do a gig which was more of a flying visit, and once with an ex-boyfriend where I really don't feel I saw much of the city besides pubs)
This time I had a bit more time, and wanted to see more of the city, but it was super rainy so instead I visited the Guinness factory.
Listen, obviously this is basically a tourist trap - but I loved it. It's a museum/experience in the old Guinness factory. You go through levels of what are essentially art installations where you get little nuggets of information about how they make Guinness (the most informative probably being the bit where they talk about the coopers - which was a skill that is now essentially useless). Then at the top, you get a Guinness. I love Guinness! Highly recommend.
If it's not raining (and good luck in Dublin) you can walk along the canal which is also pretty spectacular. The whole city had its twinkle lights already turned on for the Christmas season, so it was pretty much perfect.
Next time however, I will try and actually see some of the city.
Happy December!
