⚡️Leg Day Essentials⚡️ Video 1: SQUATS The first thing I do on leg day is hit the squat rack. It’s a great way to warm up my hips & strengthen my quads. The key to squats is 1, to wear flat shoes (I like CDG converse) 2, get nice and low and 3, push through your heels for extra glute activation!! Always SQUEEZE at the top! Video 2: STIFF LEG RDL I love deadlifting. It’s works more than just your legs. RDL’s, if done right, specifically target your hamstrings and glutes. The key is to keep your weight in your heels and bend at your hips pushing your booty way back pulling the bar back up with your hamstrings. Be sure to SQUEEZE at the top always!! Video 3: SUMO DEADLIFTS I like sumo dead lifts because it’s more quad and glute work. The key is to get nice and low, drop your hips then pull the bar up with only your legs. Don’t use your arms to help you! Have your legs slightly pointed out as well and keep them nice and wide. As always, squeeze at the top! P.S liquid chalk can help if you have a hard time hanging onto the bar when it gets heavy!
