Added 2022-01-13 23:17:03 +0000 UTChey guys.. keep me in your thoughts today I guess, I was driving to the post office to mail presents for my long distance friends and an SUV hit my car as I was crossing.. pretty obvious from the picture who hit who, so I hope my insurance covers everything. The driver who hit me was totally fine, no injuries and their airbags didn’t deploy but I hit my head pretty hard. I think they might have been on their phone because I was crossing at the same time as another car and they didn’t slow down to let me cross. Because my airbags deployed and the 2 doors on the side didn’t open, the officer who filed the police report said my car may be totaled. Thankful that I’m barely injured and my car saved my life, just anxious that I’ll end up owing thousands of dollars even after the claim pays out because I didn’t get GAP coverage (where the insurance pays the balance of your loan) and I’m saving up for a house so I can finally move in with my partner at the end of the year. I hope this doesn’t set me back too much, I’ll just have to work harder. 💜
