Since February this year, I’ve been stuck in a seemingly never ending loop of my skin breaking out and feeling miserable. As time went on, I developed serious sinusitis and really bad jaw ache.
Countless trips to the doctor, multiple treatments later and I’m getting worse. I thought back to the start of the year… what happened? What did I change? Well, as many of you know, I gave up cigs after 20 years. I instead turned to a well known alternative. Could it be that? Surely not…..
After a lot of digging and reading, I discovered one of the ingredients in them can cause an allergic reaction. The symptoms fit like a glove. Furthermore, I remembered I suffered from something similar back in 2018 and blamed it on Hair, Skin and Nail vitamins I got. I wasn’t wrong. The same ingredient is also in those vitamins.
Am I frustrated that I mentioned my lifestyle change to every doctor I seen and they didn’t make the connection… yes. However at least now I am 99% sure I’ve uncovered the problem and can take the steps to help myself. I could still be wrong… but I doubt it.
