Here a am, bed riddin
Feeling like a durty middin.
From this bed, a wish a could git oot.
Swing ma legs, touch the groond wi ma foot.
But alas, a remain here stuck
Sair, tired… aye it sure dis suck.
Och weel, av got ma tv and aw my pals here
And a am cushioned by a rather sizeable rear.
Life could be worse, make nae mistake.
And soon a will be back, with content tae make.
It goes wi oot saying, a poet a am not.
But ah weel hehe, at least am nae a bot!
