I've been a rockhound ever since I was a kid, but now that I live in Nevada, I have the opportunity to do some fossil hunting for the first time in my life. I'm honing my craft.. learning where to look, and how to roughly date my specimens. I got some great Ordovician corals (~470 million yrs) for my specimen cabinet. When the sun started setting and I ran out of light, I took a break, turned a light on, and took some pictures for you all.
